Job Description

We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Video Editor to join our real estate marketing team. The Video Editor will be responsible for editing video footage to create compelling and visually appealing content that showcases listings. This role requires a strong sense of visual storytelling, technical expertise, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

- Proven experience as a Video Editor, preferably with a focus on real estate videos. - Proficiency with FCPX. - Strong understanding of video editing techniques, including speed ramping, color grading, sound design, optimizing edits for both vertical and horizontal platforms, text overlay, and more. - Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team. - Excellent time-management and file organizational skills. - Attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.

Additional Information

- This role is hybrid with time split between remote editing and on-site training/on-site shoots. - Some flexibility with hours, with the possibility of expanding the role into a Videographer/Editor Hybrid in the future. - Job Type: Contract. - Pay: From $25.00 per hour. - Expected hours: 5 – 25 per week. - Experience in Final Cut Pro required, Adobe Photoshop preferred. - Work Location: Hybrid remote in Pasadena, CA 91105.
