Job Description

Orca Creative Team is looking for experienced photographers to join their team in Madison, Wisconsin. As a freelance photographer, you will capture weddings, engagement sessions, and elopements primarily in the Madison area and across Wisconsin. Orca Creative Team will handle all administrative tasks, culling, and editing, allowing you to focus on capturing beautiful images.

Main Responsibilities as a Freelance Photographer:

• Photograph weddings, engagement sessions, and elopements
• Provide outstanding customer service
• Document events with a photojournalistic approach
• Assist in posing couples for flattering photographs
• Manage availability calendar for freelance assignments
• Deliver high-quality RAW photographs
• Represent Orca Creative Team as an independent contractor

Requirements

Freelance Photographer Requirements:

• Minimum of ten weddings as a lead photographer
• Experience with natural light, posing, and off-camera flash

Equipment Requirement to be a Freelance Wedding Photographer:

• Two full-frame cameras with dual memory card slots
• Various prime and zoom lenses covering multiple focal ranges
• On and off-camera flash or lighting equipment
