Marketing Manager - Solar Energy, South Africa

Location: Johannesburg OR Cape Town

As a growing high-tech startup in solar energy, we are looking for a Marketing manager with a passion for driving brand excellence in the renewable energy sector. We’re on the lookout for a dynamic individual to helm marketing initiatives and elevate brand presence across diverse platforms.

NEOSUN Energy is an international Solar EPC company that provides Commercial Solar PV & Energy Storage Solutions (ESS) with capacity from 200kW to 10MW for Commercial and Industrial projects worldwide.

Role Overview: As a Marketing Manager, you’ll be at the forefront of marketing endeavors, orchestrating strategies, executing campaigns, and nurturing relationships with external partners. Your expertise will be instrumental in shaping brand narrative and propelling market share forward.

Responsibilities:
Responsible for generating leads and attracting new clients.
Develop and execute comprehensive marketing strategies to amplify brand visibility and market penetration.
Spearhead marketing, advertising, and promotional activities across multiple channels.
Lead the planning and implementation of both digital and traditional marketing campaigns.
Manage external service providers including digital agencies, content creators, and PR firms.
Conduct in-depth market analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and challenges.
Monitor and analyze marketing performance metrics, ensuring optimal ROI.
Strategize and manage the marketing budget for maximum efficiency.
Collaborate cross-functionally to align marketing initiatives with organizational objectives.
Champion a data-driven approach, leveraging analytics to drive strategic decisions.

Qualifications:
5-6 years of marketing experience, with a minimum of 2 years in the solar energy field.
Deep understanding of the solar or renewable energy industry is preferred.
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or related field (Master’s degree preferred).
Demonstrated ability in strategic planning and project management.
Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.
Proficiency in digital marketing techniques including SEO, social media, content development, and website management.
