Job Description
The internationally-renowned Cantabile Youth Singers are seeking piano accompanists for afternoon and evening rehearsals (M,T, W, TH) for the 2024-2023 school year in Los Altos, CA. This is a part-time, hourly position requiring 2-3 days per week and generally 2-3 hours per rehearsal, with occasional weekend or evening events.
Requirements
- BM in piano performance or equivalent skills
- Experience as a collaborative musician
- Advanced sight-reading and intermediate transposing skills
- Interpersonal skills including tact, patience, and courtesy
- Clear communication and ability to create effective working relationships
Additional Information
- Compensation: Pay ranges from $50-$65 per hour; concert fees negotiated separately
- Job Type: Part-time
- Expected Hours: 2-3 per week
- Location: Los Altos, CA 94022
