Job Description

The Connecticut Democracy Center (CTDC) is seeking an experienced, full-time Producer to work on television productions originating from the Connecticut Network (CT-N) in Hartford. The Producer will be responsible for researching, writing, and proofreading graphics to support network programming. They will also compile event information and elements for production staff, write, edit, and proof on-screen graphics, provide real-time support during live events, and participate in programming meetings.

Requirements

The ideal candidate should have excellent communication, writing, and interpersonal skills. They must possess a strong background in research and information gathering, pay attention to detail, and be able to multitask in a fast-paced environment. Knowledge of state government, the legislative process, and video/audio technology is a plus. Candidates must have an Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in a related field and a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience.

• Pay: $20.00 - $23.00 per hour
• Expected hours: 40 per week
