Job Description

This role is for a client of SideRamp’s, a platform that connects professionals to the gig economy. They are seeking a talented UX/UI Designer to create intuitive and engaging digital experiences. The designer will collaborate with product managers, create wireframes and mockups, conduct user research, iterate designs based on feedback, and ensure design consistency across platforms.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or related field.
  • Proven experience as a UX/UI Designer or similar role.
  • Strong portfolio showcasing design work and process.
  • Proficiency in design tools like Adobe Creative Suite, Sketch, or Figma.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to think creatively and solve complex design problems.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with front-end development technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
  • Knowledge of accessibility standards and best practices.
  • Experience working in an Agile environment.
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Experience designing for mobile applications.
  • Estimated time per week for this gig will range from 5-15 hours.
