Job Description

The role involves working closely with a cross-functional project team to build and enhance the State of Connecticut’s digital assets. Responsibilities include creating impactful content for websites, digital applications, and user guides that meet customer needs, as well as optimizing customer journeys and tracking content effectiveness.

Requirements

The ideal candidate should have at least 3 years of experience in website content writing, along with expertise in copywriting, SEO and analytics, and content lifecycle governance. Proficiency in Sitecore 10.2 and a Bachelor’s degree in relevant fields are required. Additionally, strong communication skills and the ability to work in complex situations and cross-functional teams are essential.

Administrative Considerations

The website content writer will work as part of an enterprise digital service team on a contract basis for up to 12 months. Work will be assigned based on project needs, and may involve remote work with prior approval. Access to State resources is provided, and confidentiality and security considerations must be adhered to.

Additional Information

The job type is a contract position with a pay rate of $78.00 per hour. The schedule is an 8-hour shift, Monday to Friday, excluding State holidays. The candidate must have significant experience in web content designing, Sitecore 10.2, Power Bi, Google Analytics, Salesforce, and related fields like UX, Web Design, Communications, Marketing, copywriting, and SEO.
