Job Description:

We are looking for a motivated Junior Software Engineer to join our dynamic team. The Application Developer will work with other ACIT team members, department stakeholders, vendors, and partners in the design and configuration and deployment of software solutions for the County.

Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, test, deploy, document, and support custom developed small to mid-sized software solutions.
  • Develop front-end design, database, technical documentation, test procedures, source control, coding, and system configuration.
  • Develops UI-UX, navigation, classes, API’s, web services, automation processes, workflow, database objects, reports, and data ETL.
  • Develop and maintain database-driven web interfaces.
  • Designs and implements responsive, standards-based, accessible, user-focused templates and interfaces.
  • Writes simple to complex online applications and modifies existing online applications.
  • Support QA activities for quality delivery-unit, system, user acceptance, and regression testing.

Requirements:

  • Experience Level: 3 years
  • Schedule: Monday to Friday
  • Ability to Relocate: Charlottesville, VA 22903 - Relocate before starting work (Required)
  • Work Location: Hybrid remote in Charlottesville, VA 22903
