Job Description

The application developer will update systems, provide programming assistance on various small-scale projects in .NET, SQL, and Power Platform. The role involves working on software development projects, troubleshooting, and implementing enterprise software solutions. The developer will also collaborate with team members, stakeholders, vendors, and partners to design and deploy software solutions for the County.

Requirements

• 2 years of development experience in .NET frameworks
• 1 year of experience in Powerapps development and workflow design in Power Automate
• 1 year of client-side and server-side programming experience
• 1 year of experience with Microsoft Office 365
• 1 year of experience in Azure DevOps or TFS deployment and management
• 1 year of UI/UX design with application navigation fundamentals
• 1 year of experience in API/interface development for various online platforms

Other Information

Additional Requirements: Applicants must be open to working on-site for a minimum of two days a week and for the first full week (5 days) of engagement. Access to broadband internet and a distraction-free home office is necessary for remote work. The candidate may opt to work in person if desired. Parking is free at the facilities. The employee cannot have billable hours on government holidays. Development in .NET frameworks, Powerapps, SQL database scripting, and UI/UX design are essential for this role.

License/Certification: Must have a current address in Charlottesville, Virginia.
