Job Description
This Software Engineer-Medical Device position in Northridge, California requires experience in designing and troubleshooting systems involving motors, actuators, sensors, and controllers for managing mechanical operations through electrical inputs. The role involves debugging automated test scripts, resolving code issues, and proficiency in Python, C, LABVIEW, and MATLAB. Responsibilities include designing, developing, testing, debugging, and implementing operating systems components, software tools, and utilities. The ideal candidate will be adept at systems software design and possess expertise in system verification and validation.
Requirements
The ideal candidate must hold a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in computer science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field. Required experience ranges from 2 years with a master’s degree to 6 years without. Proficiency in debugging automated test scripts, developing manual and automated tests, and managing embedded software is essential. Preferred qualifications include programming skills in LABVIEW, Python, C, and MATLAB. Familiarity with Appium for mobile applications on Android and iOS, as well as experience with system integration involving sensors and controllers, are desired.
