Job Description

Vallum Associates is seeking a Freelance Senior .NET Developer for a 1-year contract with a leading Financial services institution. The role involves designing and developing robust software solutions with a focus on payment processing systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain .NET-based applications and integrations for payment processing systems.
• Contribute to overall architecture and design of .NET applications to meet business needs and industry standards.
• Implement best practices and coding standards for producing high-quality, efficient code.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate project requirements into technical specifications.
• Ensure technology solutions align with business objectives and recommend innovative solutions based on industry trends.
• Evaluate and improve development processes for high-quality software delivery.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• Extensive experience with .NET framework and .NET Core.
• Proven background in designing and developing payment processing systems.
• Deep knowledge of software development best practices, design patterns, and coding standards.
• Proficiency in working with databases, particularly SQL Server.
• Experience with Azure or other cloud platforms.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and collaboration abilities.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with microservices architecture.
• Knowledge of security standards and best practices for payment processing.
• Experience with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
