Job Description
This position is for a Python / Backend Engineer at Quest Global in either Santa Clara, CA or Austin, TX. Prior experience at Apple is mandatory. The ideal candidate should have at least 5 years of experience in developing web services APIs and be proficient in Python and related libraries such as FastAPI, SQLAlchemy Core, Pedantic, and others. Strong skills in SQL and databases like Postgres are required, along with knowledge of containerization/Docker, AWS, and CI/CD. Bonus points for familiarity with frontend web technologies (Vue/React, Javascript/Typescript, HTML/CSS) or data engineering (ETL, data warehouses).
Requirements
- 5+ years experience developing web services APIs
- Experience with Python (or similar) and libraries like FastAPI, SQLAlchemy Core, Pedantic, HTTP, Alembic, Pytest, Ruff, etc
- Strong experience with SQL and relational databases like Postgres
- Understanding of containerization/Docker, AWS, and CI/CD
