Job Description

The Instructional Designer II leads the development of classroom, hybrid, or online courses. They provide training and development for faculty/staff in instructional design, andragogy, and best practices. They also lead project work.

Responsibilities:

• Provide course design support to academic units with complex needs
• Collaborate with faculty for outstanding outcomes
• Advance proficiency in integrating learning technologies
• Deliver customer service, protect data, and follow policies
• Stay updated on emerging learning theories and best practices
• Perform other assigned duties

Requirements

Required Education & Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree
• Two years of related instructional design experience

Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

• Proficiency in word processing and spreadsheet applications
• Knowledge of online course design principles
• Familiarity with Learning Management Systems and instructional technologies
• Strong multitasking and collaboration skills
• Ability to present information clearly and concisely
