Job Description
This role is for a Senior Software Engineer in the DWP Digital team. The main responsibilities include developing and maintaining software products, leading teams, ensuring operational stability, contributing to the overall Software Development Lifecycle Process, and supporting legacy services.
Requirements
The ideal candidate should have knowledge and experience of COBOL/MicroFocus COBOL, coaching, mentoring, and developing colleagues, stakeholder management, and influencing decisions. Familiarity with Tuxedo, RHEL, scripting languages, SQL, test-driven development, and automated test suites is essential.
