Job Description:

Playground Games is seeking a Shader Technical Artist to join their Forza Horizon team on a contract basis. The role involves collaborating with artists and rendering engineers to maintain high-quality shaders, undertake prototyping, and improve visual elements in games.

Requirements:

• Experience working with shaders (node-based or HLSL)
• Experience in creating game art or supporting an art team in creating realistic content
• Effective collaborator with a growth mindset
• Strong communication skills and ability to discuss rendering, memory, lighting, and other art-related topics
• Critical eye for visual quality
• Art or Programming degree (bonus)
