Job Description:
Aura Productions is seeking a talented Character Designer to create detailed model sheets and color designs for a web-based anime series. The role involves designing multiple poses/expressions and full color for three characters - a young male protagonist, a monstrous form of the male character, and one female character. These designs will set the visual tone for the series, beginning with the initial 2-3 minute episode.
Requirements:
- Strong portfolio demonstrating expertise in anime character design
- Experience with model sheets and color designs
- Ability to meet deadlines for a funded project aiming for distribution this year
- Collaborative skills to work closely with the production team
- Passion for anime and storytelling
- Bonus: Previous experience in dystopian/post-apocalypse/fantasy genres
Additional Information:
Interested candidates should submit their portfolio and resume showcasing character design experience. Compensation is approximately $150+ per character, negotiable based on experience.
