Job Description:

• Develop, implement, and manage social media strategies to enhance the Senator’s online presence.
• Create engaging content for Instagram and Facebook (including graphics, photos, and more).
• Photograph the Senator at community events for social media and campaign materials.
• Monitor and respond to comments and messages in a timely manner.
• Track and analyze social media platforms to measure campaign effectiveness.
• Stay up to date with the latest digital trends and best practices.
• Coordinate and assist members of the campaign team with digital newsletters.

Requirements:

• Proven work experience in social media management and digital marketing.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong understanding of social media platforms and tools.
• Proficiency in photography, video production, and graphic design.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
• Creative mindset with a keen eye for detail.

Nice-to-have Skills:

• Experience with Adobe software or Canva.
• Ability to collaborate with members of the campaign team for social media strategies.
• Knowledge of Hawai’i’s political landscape and community issues in Senate District 12.
