Job Description

The BBC Studios Audio Bristol is seeking a producer to work with the Bristol Formats team on popular factual entertainment podcasts such as Good Bad Billionaire. The producer will be responsible for producing episodes, working on other projects, and developing new shows. The role involves structuring shows, writing scripts, managing studio production, editing audio, and collaborating with on-mic talent.

Requirements

Strong candidates should have more than 3 years’ experience producing format shows, experience working with major platforms and broadcasters, and a good understanding of the global podcast audience. They should possess excellent organizational and project management skills, the ability to work collaboratively in a team, and proficiency in delivering projects on time and on budget.

• Band: D
• Contract Type: Fixed Term Contract 9 months
• Location: Bristol or remotely
• Start Date: By Sept 1st 2024
• Salary Range: £40,000 – £55,000
• Interviews expected w/b 15th July via Zoom
