Job Description:

Abracadabra Event provides entertainment services for children’s events and is looking for energetic and enthusiastic Actor Animators to bring characters to life, engage with children, and deliver captivating performances at various kids’ events.

• Portray a variety of characters from popular children’s stories, movies, and TV shows.
• Engage with children through storytelling, games, and interactive activities.
• Perform scripted scenes and improvisational interactions.
• Assist in event setup and breakdown.
• Collaborate with event coordinators for smooth event execution.

Requirements:

• Previous experience in acting, theater, or performing arts preferred.
• Strong improvisational skills and ability to adapt to different event scenarios.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Physical stamina to perform in costume for extended periods.
• Reliable transportation to and from event locations (provided).
• Availability on weekends and holidays.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience working with children in an educational or entertainment capacity.
• Background in theater, drama, or a related field.
• Ability to perform basic face painting or balloon twisting is a plus.
• Bilingual in Russian/English or Spanish/English.

Other Information:

• Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
