Job Description

Seeking a talented Filmmaker to develop content specifically for Instagram and LinkedIn. Ideal for college or graduate students looking to gain experience and showcase their filmmaking skills. Responsibilities include conceptualizing, scripting, shooting, and editing video content tailored for social media platforms. Collaborate with the creative team to develop compelling visual stories, utilize editing tools to produce high-quality videos, and cover various topics from fashion to music theory. Post finished work on your social media page, tagging and collaborating for release on the @mrdeboulay Instagram page. The role aims to curate videos on Instagram to discover new documentary filmmaking voices.

Requirements

Qualifications include proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, Final Cut Pro, Adobe Premiere, and other editing software, a strong background in film production and editing, experience in videography and photo editing, knowledge of filming techniques and equipment, ability to work collaboratively, stay updated with social media trends, and willingness to experiment with new ideas.

Additional Information

Projects will require 10 to 15 hours of editing per week, making this role ideal for students. Content will be posted for high visibility and engagement. Additional commissioned content may be required. The role offers flexible hours, pays $23.00 per hour, and benefits include a flexible schedule, health insurance, and paid time off. Applicants are required to reside in or commute to Culver City, CA 90230 for hybrid remote work.
