Job Description
ORA (Oxford University Research Archive) is seeking a developer to provide public access to the University’s research output. The role involves developing new features for end users, designing systems, maintaining the ORA system, and improving system performance. Work includes facilitating fast and efficient access to research, preserving digital content, supporting Open Access Collections, and collaborating with partner institutions like the British Library.
Requirements
The ideal candidate will be committed to open research and sharing knowledge, have a degree level education, experience in object-oriented frameworks and web development, and be skilled in problem-solving and communication. Collaborative work with both technical and non-technical colleagues is essential.

The position is permanent and full-time with the possibility of part-time work or shared work patterns.
