Job Description

• You will shoot, edit, post, print, and distribute various sizes and types of photos for display.
• You will storyboard, script, shoot, edit, and produce videos.
• You will use specialized photographic equipment, techniques, and processes to develop, modify, or adapt equipment and procedures to meet new requirements.
• You will design and create information technology-based multimedia products such as websites, DVDs, and social media that combine text with sounds, pictures, graphics, video-clips, virtual reality, and digital animation.
• You will create, edit, and produce professional quality videos using specialized software for various purposes such as Center displays, website, and social media viewing.
• You will create storyboards, scripts, shoots, edits and produce videos to support the Center’s mission.
• You will plan and facilitate studio and field-based video production work, including the planning, filming, editing, sound mixing, graphic design and compression output and distribution of a wide range of products.

• Must be a US Citizen.
• Must be determined suitable for federal employment.
• Must participate in the direct deposit pay program.
• New employees to the Department of Defense will be required to successfully pass the E-Verify employment verification check.
• Within the Department of Defense (DoD), the appointment of retired military members within 180 days immediately following retirement date to a civilian position is subject to the provisions of 5 United States Code 3326.
• Males born after 12-31-59 must be registered for Selective Service.
• You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final security clearance prior to entrance on duty.
• This position may require travel from the normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS.
• You will be required to obtain and maintain a U.S. Passport.

Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-08 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate operating camera and processing equipment.
