Job Description

News 12 is looking for a Videographer to create video for news programs, live coverage, breaking news, and other productions. The Videographer will work independently or as part of a team to accurately represent the news through visuals and sound. Responsibilities include recording raw video and audio, operating production equipment, and maintaining assigned equipment.

Requirements

• Associates degree in Broadcasting or Television Production preferred; Master’s degree is a plus
• Minimum one year of experience in a television field production preferred
• Knowledge in current and emerging newscast technologies
• Basic knowledge of news operations and practices helpful
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team
• Effective communication skills
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
• Flexible schedule with the ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays
• Valid driver’s license and a good driving record
