Job Description

The Freelance AV Project Manager in the AudioVisual Solutions Department will collaborate with internal stakeholders and external vendors to design, install, and maintain audiovisual systems and Time-Based Media artworks throughout the museum. They will oversee Lead AV Technicians and freelance Audio Visual Technicians for audiovisual technology integrations.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or 3-5 years equivalent professional experience
• Working knowledge of the construction process
• Experience with power and hand tools
• Comfortable with heights and ability to drive a scissor lift
• Knowledge of audiovisual technology and control systems
• Experience in video production and post-production editing
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Proficiency in software like Microsoft Office, Google Suite, Adobe Premiere Pro, etc.

Physical Requirements

• Standing and sitting for extended periods
• Moving equipment weighing up to 50 pounds
• Ascending/descending ladders, scaffolding, lifts
• Operating audiovisual equipment and tools
• Strong vision abilities for prolonged visual concentration
