Job Description

The Social Media Executive will work on social media campaigns across various platforms like TikTok, Instagram, and Facebook to engage with parents, carers, and teachers. The role involves creating engaging social content, driving awareness and engagement for CBeebies shows and Education campaigns, and staying updated on industry trends.

Requirements

• Proven project management experience in a social media environment
• Experience running social media accounts or campaigns
• Good Adobe CS video/image editing skills
• Strong communication and presentation skills
• Ability to evaluate ideas, embrace change, and make improvements
• Understanding of editorial and compliance policies
• Knowledge and interest in the broadcasting industry
• Experience collaborating with creative resources and managing stakeholder relationships

Additional Responsibilities

- Supporting the Social Media Manager in developing strategic approaches

- Managing social campaign plans across platforms

- Producing and briefing digital assets and engaging copy

- Reviewing campaign performance and shaping plans for engagement

- Ensuring content compliance and approval

- Collaborating with various teams for campaign development
