Job Description

We have an exciting opportunity for an Editorial Assistant to join our Audio team at Penguin Random House on a 12-month fixed term contract. You will play a key role in the running of our Editorial teams, working with the wider Audio department, and potentially contributing to our BBC Audio publishing.

• Supporting the Editorial teams administratively
• Liaising with in-house Studio team and preparing manuscripts for recordings
• Booking travel for talent
• Managing information flow to support commissioning process
• Ensuring seamless audio releases
• Building relationships with key internal colleagues

Requirements

If you are a keen audiobook listener with a genuine interest in audio publishing, we want to hear from you. You should have exceptional organization and time management skills, ability to multi-task, attention to detail, and effective communication skills.

Minimum criteria for Disability Confident:

• Demonstrable interest in Penguin and audio publishing
• Proven written ability
• Experience/knowledge of MS Office Excel/Word/Outlook
• Demonstrable understanding of managing multiple stakeholders
• Demonstrable communication skills
