JOB DESCRIPTION

The Graphic Designer position at Olympic College is a temporary one-year contract, reporting to the Executive Director of Communications, Web Services, & Marketing. The role involves producing high-quality design assets for digital and print advertising, promoting academic programs, and enhancing the college’s visual presence.

REQUIREMENTS

The ideal candidate for this role should possess:

• Skills to design for various platforms including social media, web, and email campaigns.
• Experience in collaborating with marketing and academic departments.
• Ability to create templates for brochures, flyers, posters, and online materials.
• Knowledge of maintaining brand and accessibility guidelines.
• Familiarity with design trends and industry standards.
• Capability to work on multiple projects and meet deadlines.
• Strong communication skills to provide feedback and creative direction to stakeholders.

SUPPLEMENTAL INFORMATION

The position is full-time with benefits offered in accordance with the Washington Public Employees Associate (WPEA) Union agreement. Employees will receive a 5 percent pay increase after six months of probation.
