Job Description

As a PL/SQL Data Engineer with Python, you will be responsible for working with Oracle, SingleStore, or IBM I DB2 databases, writing SQL & PL/SQL code, and utilizing ETL tools such as SQL_Loader, Equalum, and Python scripts. You will also be involved in fine-tuning and optimizing SQL and PL/SQL code, debugging and supporting production issues, and assisting with system integration and testing.

Requirements

  • Detailed work experience on Oracle, SingleStore, or IBM I DB2 database, SQL & PL/SQL, including ANSI SQL.
  • Expertise in ETL tools such as SQL_Loader, Equalum, and Python scripts, as well as familiarity with No-SQL databases and pipelines like Elasticsearch and MongoDB.
  • Experience in performing fine-tuning and optimization of SQL and PL/SQL code to improve query response, debugging and supporting production issues, assisting with system integration and testing, and carrying out complex DDL, DML, and analytical functions to support application delivery.
  • 8 years of experience in Oracle PL/SQL, 6 years in Python, 4 years in SQL_Loader, 5 years in No-SQL databases and pipelines, and 4 years in Equalum.
