Job Description

The successful candidate will serve as a Catholic Mass Music Musician/Director, collaborating with the Catholic Priest or Designee to provide music activities for Catholic Worship Services. Responsibilities include playing, training, and scheduling music for various Catholic worship services, rehearsals, liturgies, and special events. The role also involves leading the choir and congregation in worship, coordinating music activities, and maintaining documentation of services performed.

Requirements

The candidate must have a degree in music (or equivalent experience) and knowledge of Catholic liturgy and traditional Christian music. Experience in a Catholic military chapel setting is preferred. Strong organizational skills, the ability to lead a choir, and evaluate subcontractor performance are necessary. The candidate must also be able to provide temporary replacements when needed, pass a criminal background check, and have good communication skills.
