Job Description:

We are seeking a talented Software Engineer to join our dynamic team. The role involves designing, developing, and maintaining two primary applications with a focus on event-driven design, Spring Boot, microservices architecture, Kubernetes, React, Elastic search, and either RabbitMQ or Kafka. Responsibilities include collaborating with cross-functional teams, developing microservices, working with message brokers, deploying to Kubernetes clusters, writing unit tests, participating in peer code reviews, and documenting technical specifications.

Requirements:

Experience level: 10 years

Technical skills: proficiency in event-driven design, strong knowledge of Spring Boot and microservices architecture, familiarity with Kubernetes, experience with React and/or Angular for front-end development, knowledge of RabbitMQ or Kafka for message queuing, familiarity with RESTful APIs and web services, and experience with Elastic search is a plus.

Communication skills: excellent verbal and communication skills

Problem-solving abilities: ability to analyze complex technical challenges and propose effective solutions

Location: Hybrid remote in Baltimore, MD 21201

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Pay: $105,969.59 - $158,328.98 per year
