Job Description

The Artist-In-Residence contract includes studio space, 24-hour building access, a monthly stipend, a solo exhibition opportunity, selling work at the Made at Minot State Pop Up Shop, and creating a print edition with Flat Tail Press. Responsibilities also include integrating into the student community, directing galleries, coordinating events, assisting with receptions and events, maintaining studio space, contributing artwork to the permanent collection, attending meetings, and abiding by university code of conduct.

Requirements

The Artist-In-Residence should have a minimum of 15 office hours per week, be available during high traffic hours, coordinate gallery shows, maintain spaces, assist with department tasks, contribute to the permanent collection, attend faculty meetings, have monthly coordinator meetings, and follow university code of conduct. Additional opportunities may include teaching workshops and leading demonstrations.
