Job Description:

We’re seeking a talented and creative videographer/editor to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will be an expert in creating engaging, viral-worthy content for TikTok and Instagram Reels, helping to establish our brand presence in the Canadian market.

Key Responsibilities:

• Shoot, and edit high-quality short-form video content for TikTok and Instagram Reels
• Collaborate with the team to align video content with brand strategy and campaign objectives
• Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and features on TikTok and Instagram
• Optimize videos for maximum engagement and shareability
• Manage video production from pre- to post-production stages
• Contribute creative ideas for content that resonates with our target audience

Requirements:

• Proven experience in creating successful content for TikTok and Instagram Reels
• Expert proficiency in video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro)
• Advanced skills in After Effects for motion graphics and visual effects
• Must be able to make a shot list for each reel based on scripts provided
• Strong understanding of social media trends, especially in short-form video content
• Ability to work in a fast-paced startup environment and meet tight deadlines
• Excellent eye for composition, lighting, and visual storytelling
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Will be expected to generate 30 reels per month (we will provide assistance and they won’t be working alone)

Preferred Qualifications:

• Background in film/TV production or cinematic direction
• Experience working with lifestyle or consumer brands
• Portfolio demonstrating a range of video styles and techniques

Additional Information:

• Upon proven performance, compensation will be to industry standard rates.
• Opportunity to lead their own team after 3 months of content creation.
