Job Description

This is a part-time, 30 hours a week on-site role for a Graphic Designer at Eastern Star Church. The Graphic Designer will be responsible for creating and designing graphics, including logos and branding materials. Typography skills will also be essential for this role.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Graphics and Graphic Design skills
• Logo Design and Branding skills
• Typography skills
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and Canva (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign)
• Attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design or related field
• Experience in the field of graphic design
• Knowledge of current design trends and techniques
• Working with internal teams to gather materials/information for social media postings
• Updating some web content as needed
• All other duties as assigned

Requirements

• A minimum of 1-3 years of related experience
• Ability to think creatively and translate ideas into graphic designs
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to meet short deadlines, work in a fast-paced environment, and coordinate with various teams, departments, and divisions
• Self-starter with the ability to work independently, as well as a valuable member of a team
