Job Description

This part-time role as a Graphic Designer at Eastern Star Church involves creating and designing graphics, logos, and branding materials, as well as utilizing typography skills. The Graphic Designer will collaborate with internal teams to gather materials for social media postings and update web content as needed.

Requirements

To qualify for this position, candidates should have a Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design or a related field, along with 1-3 years of experience in graphic design. Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and Canva (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) is essential. Strong communication, attention to detail, and the ability to meet deadlines are required. Ideal candidates should be creative, detail-oriented, able to work independently, and effectively collaborate with teams.

Physical Demands and Working Conditions

The Graphic Designer should be able to stand, walk, sit, use hands, lift up to 30 pounds, and have visual observation capabilities for this role. Reasonable accommodations can be made for individuals with disabilities.

Other Information

The role is non-exempt, part-time (30 hours a week), and located at the Main Campus of Eastern Star Church. The position reports to the Communications Program Manager and does not have direct reports.
