Job Description:

Goal Guys, a fitness and self-improvement channel, is seeking a freelance editor experienced in Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects. The ideal candidate should be detail-oriented, passionate about Youtube and Social Media video production, particularly within the fitness niche. They should have a background in editing narrative or documentary projects and be proficient in using music and sound design for storytelling. Responsibilities include assembling and providing feedback on video drafts to align with the provided outline and script.

Requirements:

The ideal candidate should:

• Be based in Vancouver and able to meet in person weekly for file transfers or feedback
• Have experience editing 4K videos with a computer capable of handling the footage
• Demonstrate proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro and ability to create motion graphics in Adobe After Effects
• Provide a portfolio or samples of previous editing work, including narrative content
• Have at least 1 year of video editing experience

Other Information:

Pay for this freelance role is $25-$30 per hour. Benefits include a flexible schedule and opportunities for advancement to bigger projects with larger channels.
