Job Description

We are seeking a talented and passionate Senior User Experience (UX) Designer to join our dynamic design team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of user-centered design principles and a proven track record of creating engaging and intuitive digital experiences. As a UX Designer, you will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to translate user needs and business goals into innovative and user-friendly designs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct user research and gather insights through methods such as interviews, surveys, and usability testing.
  • Develop personas, user journeys, wireframes, and prototypes to effectively communicate design ideas.
  • Create detailed design specifications and collaborate with developers to ensure accurate implementation.
  • Design and iterate on user interfaces for web and mobile applications, ensuring a seamless and consistent user experience.
  • Conduct usability testing and gather feedback to refine and improve designs.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in UX design and technology.
  • Work closely with product managers, developers, and other stakeholders to align design solutions with business objectives.
  • Advocate for the user and ensure that the final product meets their needs and expectations.

Required Qualifications and Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5+ years of experience in UX design, with a strong portfolio showcasing your design process and final products.
  • Experience with tools like Sketch, Figma, Adobe XD, InVision, or Axure RP for design and prototyping.
  • Experience with user research methodologies and usability testing.
  • Strong understanding of responsive design principles and mobile-first design.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to think critically, solve problems creatively, and pay attention to detail.
  • Knowledge of front-end development (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) is a plus.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process.
  • Familiarity with accessibility standards and inclusive design practices.
  • Experience with additional collaboration and planning tools like Miro, Notion, or Balsamiq.
  • Experience with tools like Zeplin, Abstract, or Marvel for collaboration and handoff.
  • Experience with usability testing and analytics tools like Crazy Egg, Google Analytics, or FullStory.
  • Experience with data visualization, creating dashboards, and motion design.
