Job Description

• Design substantial portions of D&D game materials and generate new concepts.
• Write art orders for D&D products in collaboration with art directors.
• Guide products through the entire production process by working with editors, graphic designers, engineers, and producers.
• Assign tasks, guide quality levels, and lead project teams comprising both staff and freelance designers.
• Incorporate playtest feedback into every product.
• Stay updated on industry trends and player preferences to ensure designs resonate with the RPG community.
• Represent D&D in the larger RPG community through interviews, appearances, articles, etc.

Requirements

• Experience designing RPG products with significant credits on beloved releases.
• Demonstrable ability to create engaging and balanced game content aligning with D&D core design ethos.
• Curiosity about user experience design and adapting printed game content for digital experiences.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Strong long-form writing skills, both technical and narrative.
• Collaboration experience with in-house and freelance designers.
• Detail-oriented with a commitment to crafting outstanding gaming experiences for players worldwide.

Additional Information

• The compensation range for this role is between $104,160 and $175,920 USD.
