Job Description:

Tactile is looking for a mid-senior-level 3D Animation Designer (contract to hire) to work from either the Boston or Seattle studio locations, with a possibility of remote work. The role will involve producing 3D animations and supporting renders for web, social media, and packaging for industry-leading clients.

Responsibilities:

• Create evocative motion assets to enhance product storytelling
• Produce photo-real renderings for marketing materials
• Visualize materials creatively and push boundaries
• Demonstrate expertise in color theory, motion, and lighting principles
• Create visual storyboards for animations
• Pay meticulous attention to detail and product accuracy
• Handle multiple projects with design direction
• Communicate effectively in presentations and meetings

Requirements:

• 7+ years of experience in visual design
• BA/BS in related training or equivalent work experience
• Proficiency in software tools like Cinema 4D, Redshift, Blender, Houdini, and After Effects
• Portfolio showcasing relevant work examples
• Strong verbal communication and presentation skills
• Experience in client-based projects and managing through challenges
• Impeccable attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently

Compensation:

This contract position offers an hourly rate between $100 and $200, based on various factors. Flexible hours are available based on Tactile’s needs, and the position may be eligible for paid sick leave.
