Job Description
This is a remote freelance opportunity with potential for a full-time position. The video editor will complete several cooking videos per week: at least two 5-20 minute videos for YouTube and/or four 1-minute videos for Reels, on a one-week deadline. They will work closely with our director of digital content to explore different styles, pacing, and graphics that create an exciting presentation of the brand, following best practices for different digital media platforms. The role pays $50 per hour.
Requirements
- Demonstrated ability to edit tight, fast-paced video
- Basic motion graphics skills
- Familiarity with Premiere or comparable video editing software. Familiarity with After Effects and other Adobe programs are strongly preferred.
- Ability to pivot styles quickly
- Firm grasp of framing, texture, and lighting
Preferred
- Experience shooting and editing cooking videos for YouTube, TikTok, and/or Reels
- Ability to commute to our Boston office once per week for shoots
Additional Information
Pay: $50.00 - $55.00 per hour
Schedule: Day shift, Monday to Friday
