Job Description
New Frontier Publishing is seeking a talented and highly creative Midweight to Senior Designer with at least five years of experience in children’s book design to join their team. The designer will work on various titles from board books and picture books to middle grade fiction, maintaining relationships with both established illustrators and developing new talent. The designer will collaborate closely with the Publisher to develop, create, and manage titles and series.
Requirements
The ideal candidate should have:
- Five years of experience in children’s book design
- Proficiency in InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator
- Working knowledge of Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Teams
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team
- Bachelor’s degree in related field preferred
- At least 3 years of graphic design experience preferred
- At least 3 years of book design experience in children’s publishing required
Other Information
Job Types: Part-time, Permanent
Pay: Up to £43,106.00 per year
Expected hours: 24 per week
