Job Description:

TelevisaUnivision is seeking a seasonal Camera Operator for the Production Department. The candidate will work independently or as part of a team, record raw video and audio, and turn it into a finished product. They will also operate production equipment and may be required to drive news vehicles and/or live-transmission vehicles.

Requirements:

• 0-1 years’ experience in recording and editing for broadcast and station news
• Proficiency in English and Spanish (written and oral)
• Proficient in MAC and PC platforms, Adobe Creative software (Premiere, After Effects, Photoshop), and basic knowledge of Final Cut Pro
• Above average computer skills, familiarity with Microsoft Applications, and social media proficiency
• High School Graduate (some college preferred)
• Basic knowledge of news operations and practices
• Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays with a flexible schedule
• Authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, type, edit, reach, sit for up to 8 hours, and lift 25-50 lbs
