Job Description:

KWES-TV, NewsWest 9, is seeking a Senior Digital Content Producer to help lead the day-to-day direction and operation of content across its digital, mobile, app, OTT, and social media platforms. The role involves guiding editorial decision-making, managing strategy, and collaborating with journalists to produce high-quality content. Responsibilities include coordinating daily digital news efforts, leading editorial processes, curating content, and training staff in best digital practices.

Requirements:

The ideal candidate should have experience with TV newsroom software, live streams, copy editing, and a strong understanding of copyright law and journalism legal principles. Proficiency in online metrics, Content Management Systems, HTML, and social media platforms is required, along with knowledge of OTT trends. A degree in journalism, communications, broadcast, digital media, or a related field is preferred.
