Job Description:

We are looking for contract data developers (2 months, Python) with a focus on Data Engineering and ML Engineering. Your core responsibility will be to contribute to the construction of a reusable RAG pipeline on giant datasets, as well as constructing and deploying APIs with Django. You will work under the direction of our Chief Data Officer.

Requirements:

• Strong Python skills with a proven track record in Data Engineering and ML engineering
• Strong Django skills
• Strong SQL skills
• Experience using the Pytest framework
• Knowledge of RAG-engineering workflows (langchain, llama\_index, haystack) and vector databases (weaviate) using Python
• Comfortable with git and github for version control
• Experience working with LLM APIs (OpenAI, Azure OpenAI, Claude, etc.)
• Experience working with OpenSource LLMs using OLLAMA
• At home in the Linux terminal
• Strong written and spoken communication skills, fluent in English
• Conscientious team player
• Prepared to document your work in our internal systems

Desirable Skills:

Experience using github actions, experience using docker to containerize and deploy applications, knowledge of the data science stack for python, and DevOps experience using Azure.

We are Bombe, an early stage startup at the intersection of public opinion, audience insights, ad targeting, and AI. We offer a competitive compensation based on experience and expertise. Contract is for 8 hours/day, 5 days/week in London, UK. Payment is on a monthly basis.
