Job Description

This remote freelance opportunity at Milk Street involves editing several cooking videos per week, including 5-20 minute videos for YouTube and/or four 1-minute videos for Reels. The video editor will collaborate with the director of digital content to create engaging videos tailored for different digital media platforms while following best practices. The position pays $50 per hour.

Requirements

The ideal candidate should have a demonstrated ability to edit fast-paced videos, possess basic motion graphics skills, be proficient in Premiere or similar editing software, and preferably be familiar with After Effects and other Adobe programs. Candidates must be able to quickly adapt styles, understand framing, texture, and lighting, and must be willing to commute to the Boston office once a week for shoots.
