Job Description

Establishes, organizes, and manages web site content for one or more departments. Develops and maintains web page content for departmental, unit, and college level websites. Administers, maintains, and oversees the design and development of websites. Ensures compliance with applicable policies on website usage, security, and accessibility standards. Recommends electronic reference resources services. Trouble shoots and provides problem resolution to users on the use of web applications and computer technologies. Monitors website usage statistics and develops reports for performance assessment.

Requirements

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Required qualifications include having an Associateā€™s degree from a 2-year college or technical school and two years of related experience in web development with proficiency in HTML, CSS3, JavaScript, PHP, and more. Familiarity with university learning management systems is required. Preferred qualifications include knowledge of CMS systems, database administration, and experience with interactive web design tools.

The physical demands of the job include frequent standing and walking, as well as sitting, using hands, and lifting up to 10 pounds. The work environment usually has a moderate noise level.
