Job Description:

In this role, you will be responsible for managing the DUoS, MPRS, National Change, and Smart Meter Administration departments. Your primary objectives include ensuring prompt and accurate billing, dealing efficiently with supplier inquiries, following up on debts consistently, and providing expert advice on registration and settlement processes within the energy market.

You will oversee NGED’s compliance with legal and regulatory requirements from entities such as OFGEM, ELEXON, RECCo, DESNZ, and SECCo. Additionally, you will manage the NGED National Smart Meter System ensuring adherence to SEC, DCC requirements, and NGED’s smart policies. Team management will also be a key responsibility, overseeing a team of 4-5 managers and a total team of 24 across different departments.

Requirements:

Previous management experience is required, along with knowledge of National Electricity Trading arrangements, the DUoS System, and the National Smart Meter Programme and MPRS System.
