Job Description

Newr is seeking a 3D CAD Designer who works well with dynamic priorities. You’ll collaborate with various engineering teams on projects and offer design and packaging direction.

Requirements and Skills

• Experience in 3D and 2D CAD design of complex assemblies.
• Experience with 3D printers.
• Must have experience with Solidworks.
• Experience in additive manufacturing design is a plus.
• Experience with subtractive manufacturing processes is a plus.
• Experience in GD&T and manufacturing is a plus.
• A.S. or B.S. in Mechanical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering Technology, or similar degree is a plus.
• Self-motivation, good communication skills, and a great team-player attitude is a must.
• Must sign an NDA prior to starting.

Responsibilities

• Create detailed 3D models for manufacturing and 2D prints as required.
• Create and maintain a BOM and revision history for tracking changes.
• Translate concepts into 3D models using sketches and discussions.
• Provide innovative work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
