Job Description

• Produce and edit engaging original content centered on social justice issues.
• Create, upload, and schedule social media posts using specific tools.
• Develop and maintain a comprehensive content calendar aligned with marketing strategies.
• Assist in developing content strategies that align with brand goals and audience interests.

Requirements

• 1-3+ years of experience in creative social media content and community management.
• Skilled in video editing with awareness of social media trends.
• Comprehensive understanding of social media platforms, algorithms, and best practices.
• Proficient writer with ability to engage different audiences and brand voices.
• Strong communication, interpersonal skills, and customer service skills.
• Ability to measure and interpret the impact of community management and content posts.
• Availability to work at least 3 hours per day during business hours.
• Comfortable behind the camera for potential TikTok or Instagram Reels needs.
• Passionate about social justice and amplifying marginalized voices.

Additional Information

• This is a part-time, 6-month contract position with the possibility of extension.
• The role pays $20-$25/hour for a maximum of 20 hours per week.
• Work Location: Remote
