Job Description

The Senior Artist will be responsible for creating art works for all phases of development - concept, production, and live operations for a mobile game. They will work with a talented development team, manage art team deliverables, participate in brainstorms, and collaborate with various disciplines. The role involves establishing game vision through concept art, managing the art process, and ensuring consistency of art across multiple devices.

Requirements

• BA/BFA degree in Illustration, Animation, or Entertainment Arts or equivalent training/experience.
• 5+ years of production experience in mobile games.
• Excellent Adobe Illustrator and Adobe Photoshop skills.
• Ability to communicate ideas effectively and provide feedback diplomatically.
• Experience working with entertainment IPs, specifically Disney IPs.
• Strong traditional art principles and visual design understanding.
• Initiative in problem-solving, organizational skills, and attention to detail.
• Experience working with outsourcers or external vendors.
• Passion for video games and a portfolio of work required.

Additional Information

The role is open to fully remote candidates willing to work PDT hours. The position is a 6-month contract with possible extensions. Compensation for the role is within the range of $32 to $58 per hour. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, parental leave, paid time off, a 401(k) plan, life, disability, and accident insurance.
