Job Description
The Creative Artworker/Designer for the EMEA region will be responsible for concepting and producing high-quality visual materials that support the creative team’s objectives. Under the guidance of the Senior Designer/Heads of Creative, the role involves creating content for marketing campaigns, social media, digital out-of-home advertising, and more. The ideal candidate should possess exceptional conceptualisation skills, technical expertise, and a collaborative spirit, contributing to the production of world-class creative output that resonates with international audiences.
Responsibilities
- Idea Generation: Generate insight-driven ideas that support the creative brief.
- Creative Production: Create high-quality visual materials for various channels, ensuring they meet project specifications and channel brand guidelines.
- Visual Consistency: Maintain consistency with the brand’s visual identity and high production standards.
- Referencing and Presentations: Assist in creating design references, mock-ups, and presentations for reviews and client approvals.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the creative team to develop and execute innovative visual solutions.
- Image Editing: Edit and retouch images to enhance visual appeal meeting project requirements.
- Photography Briefing: Collaborate to develop photography briefs for campaigns.
- Image Compositing: Achieve cohesive compositions from various images.
- Project Delivery: Manage multiple projects and ensure timely delivery of creative materials.
- Feedback Integration: Constructively address feedback to refine work to meet high standards.
- Technical Skills Development: Continuously improve design skills and stay updated with trends.
- Templating: Create user-friendly design templates.
- Cultural Sensitivity: Ensure creative work is editorially correct and culturally sensitive.
- Critical Thinking: Share expertise with junior team members.
Requirements
Key Criteria
- Conceptual Skills: Interpret design briefs and produce compelling visual executions.
- Technical Proficiency: Advanced skills in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign).
- Attention to Detail: Commitment to producing high-quality work.
- Design Skills: Expertise in composition, layout, and typography.
- Artwork Skills: Strong understanding of retouching, lighting, and image compositing.
Desirable
- Time Management: Excellent organizational skills to handle multiple projects.
- Feedback Skills: Ability to give and receive constructive feedback.
- Understanding of Social Media: Familiarity with the social landscape.
- Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal skills for collaboration.
- Experience: Previous role in design/creative artwork within an agency or studio.
- Quality Artwork Track Record: Proven experience producing high-quality works for digital and print platforms.
- Experience with Diverse Audiences: Plus for having international experience.
- Motion Design Skills: A plus but not necessary.
